MycoFind Test Kit

This kit contains all the necessary ingredients for Polymerase Chain Reaction for the amplificaiton of a conserved region of the 16S ribosomal DNA of more than 25 different Mycoplasma, Acholeplasma and Ureaplasma species except for Taq DNA Polymerase. Instructions for preparing the reaction mixture are included with the kit. The kits requires that the user provides Taq DNA Polymerase (the kit was optimized with New England Biolabs Standard Taq Polymerase). Once cycling is completed, the PCR products are ready for electrophoresis and imaging. Positive control DNA is provided.
