Our Clinical Diagnostics division offers an extensive testing menu composed of molecular biology and microbiology assays. Our test menu covers Tick-borne illnesses, Respiratory Infections, Gynecology, Systemic Infectious Diseases, Infectious Arthritis, Parasitic Infections, Viral Infections, and Fungal Infections. In our Contract Research division, we offer a wide range of services to biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical companies, government entities, and universities geared to assist in lot release testing as required by the FDA and other regulatory agencies.
We are seeking to hire candidates genuinely interested in gaining laboratory experience and learning more about the field of biology.
Responsibilities include:
DNA and RNA extractions from biological and non-biological samples
Real-time and conventional PCR assays
Gel Electrophoresis with gel imaging, labeling, and analysis
Technical writing – standard operating procedures and other laboratory documentation
Data analysis and documentation
Other laboratory tasks or assays as needed
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in the life sciences or another related field is required.
Proficiency in MS Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail, well-organized, and the ability to work independently
Desire to actively learn new information and laboratory skills
Prior Laboratory experience is preferred
Next-generation Sequencing experience is preferred but not required

The ideal candidate must have excellent office skills. Competency in using Microsoft Office is essential. Verbal and written communication skills are required. The job responsibilities include handling of incoming shipments, accessioning, handling of documentation, document archiving, assisting with billing and invoicing and other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in humanities or science is required with at least 1 year of work experience in an office setting.
